Definitely one of my favorite types of music is theater and show music. In this event I was playing the acoustic guitar in the orchestra for the Cole Porter performance of “Anything Goes”, by the high school drama class. This event truly stands out in my mind as being totally enjoyable. The music is legendary and I’m really a complete romantic at heart, well…maybe not completely.
The one incident that sticks out the most this night was in the very beginning. The audience and the orchestra had taken their seats and I was in the bathroom so I didn’t know. All the lights went out and the spotlights were shining on the stage door, where the conductor was about to make his big appearance. Guess who went barging through the door first. That’s right.
