Hi everyone,
I'm going to buy an six string bass. What would be the best choice????
I thought a Yamaha will do the trick..... maybe the John Myung signature????
Or a TRB (also Yamaha)......
Many, many, thanks for those who answer this little question....

First, how much money do you intend to spend?
Second, what features would you like to have?
Third, what type of tone are you going for?

A used Ibanez should do the trick. They are currently on a big mahogony kick but htey used to make the bodies out of ash I think. I'm not sure about that. I have a beater Ibanez 406 6 string and it is good bang for the buck. It offers half way decent 3 band EQ and plays ok. Ash would definitely be more punchy than Mahogony though.Instrumentalrockrocks wrote:700/900 euro.... in dollars: 800/1000
