Mr. Rogers Chords?

On one of the songs from "Alive in an Ultra World" Steve asks Mike Keneally (keyboards) to play "Mr. Rogers chord" which appears to be a mere something-major maj7 chord. Who is this Mr. Rogers and why did the chord get named after him?
