Does seem odd to have to buy one CD twice just to fill the Jewel Box...but at least we're getting somewhere.

The one on Amazon is the same.
There is a new batch in the webstore.
As far as there being two releases of MP (one with PAW and one Stand Alone), to the best of my knowledge:
The PAW/MP release was Sony and Sony's responsibility. Whereas the SJB release for MP was done by Steve under FavoredNations. I'm not quite sure actually how much influence Steve had over the Sony release.

So, it's $13.99 for the cd from the webstore, but $29.40 for shipping to the UK !! Seriously ?
So $43.39 for one cd to fill a bit more of the gap in the jewel box. I can't believe it !
I recently sent off for another cd from a US band, which was shipped from Hawaii to the UK, and the postage for that was $5, so how can it possibly be $29.40 for this ? I bought all the previous Secret Jewel Box cds from the Steve Vai webstore (an older version), and the postage to the UK was far more reasonable.
Looks like I'll have to go to Amazon.

Last time I checked, following Jeroen's post above, the postage to Uk had dropped to $9.99, from the crazy $29.40 it was previously. However, I'd already ordered it from amazon.com by then, and have now received it. new to the forum. I am not sure if this has been asked already, since I haven't found the time to read through all 38 pages of this thread, but:
I just found out about the Secret Jewel Box which obviously is not available from the store anymore. I do have the chance to get a used one, but since I read that after the release of the 10th cd, the booklet will only be send to those who initially bought the box and all subsequent releases through the official store, I wonder if I will ever be able to get the box complete. So - will there be a chance to get the booklet even if I did not buy the box initially?

Long time since I have been here and I just found out about Piano Reductions 2, I also am confused about the MP version that I have, since it doesn't have anything on the spine. I got it once it came out via Amazon. Can I get a current roster as to the SJB? I purchased mine from Vai.com long ago and have been looking to complete it with the proper releases as they come out.

Hi. I've only just seen that Piano Reductions 2 has been release as well, though it's not part of the Secret Jewel Box. The last SJB release was Modern Primitive. That first appeared as a double cd along with the anniversary edition of Passion and Warfare - which may be the version you have? They then released it again with the appropriate casing for the Secret Jewel Box. There are still three discs to go to complete the SJB. The two live Alcatrazz discs, and "Hot Chunks".
