I quite like it. Simple but pretty detailed in a weird Vai way.
I'm just really hoping the album is very stripped down, no-nonsense guitar playing. Real Illusions was a little too 'out there' at times. Surely he must have 6 years of studio stuff that shoud be able to blow your mind? I think so. This album has the potential to be absolutely sensational.
Some studio/album updates would be nice, though.....

Steve is finished recording, mixing & is mastering the new album and.... It. Is. Awesome. The Favored Nations team, Vai.com, management, agencies- everyone is working very hard to make their deadlines. That new track is pretty cool, not an instant classic or anything but I like that its something a bit different again...still very excited to hear the rest!
