Too true. I don't think the vai.com/album page has been updated in weeks!

My thirst for new music got so bad two nights ago I downloaded Worms and Wizards album (or whatever it's called) by Satriani the other night. Haven't listened to it yet, though.

I've heard the new album being a ballsy all-out ALS type project is just a red-herring.

What he really has planned is a bossa-nova album, inspired by the whimsical lounge vibe of the late, great Atonio Carlos Jobim. First single to be released will be Fire-girl from Ipanema.

Oooo, nice new dinky amp-I love the clean channel. Sounds great and I'm really pleased he's listened to me and boswell and ditched the horrid solid state pedal!

You're saying the album is 4 months away and we haven't even been given a preliminary release date or even the album name??? That is strange.
I mean, thanks for the news, hopefully it's true...but after all the delays I'm skeptical...

Yeah, that'd be nice....I so wish we'd see some longer footage of the recording process...but honestly, I'll gladly give all that up just to have the album out by summer.

Dave Weiner stated on twitter that a Vai world tour is coming up - hopefully that will be in support of the new album

Any thoughts on the new album title? My guess is it's called 'The Story of....' ('Agot'?)
