Washburn Dime Sig: Bowed Neck advice?

heya all!

I currently have in my possesion a Washburn Dimeslime Sig guitar! hehe......however after inspection i have realized that the neck is bowed (away from the strings), with the largest distance around the 10th to 12th fret. Consequently the Trem is not flush.

The neck is not bolted, but rather a glued through neck i think ( ), so i have no access to the truss rod.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to solve this problem? or have any experience with these guitars?

If the neck has a truss rod, that is one that's not seald inside the neck only for a proffessional to mess with, it may have a plate near the nut wich unscrews and revals the trussrod adjustment, you should tighten it very slightly play for a while rinse and repeate untill the "relief" in the neck is as you desire.

If not then, it may have other problems, try taking to a proffessional guitar tech/builder to take a look at.

i am guessin it is bowed back ? if the neck is bowed back loosen the truss rod and if the neck has bowed forword tighten it.

look here for the whole process , it is very easy , you'd just be wasting money going to a guitar tech .

Do Not be greedy with the truss rod. a little at a time and give it time.

After rereading your first post I need add something.
The trem angle and the neck being bowed are two different things.
Before any neck adjust you really should get the trem squared away.
As the trem angle does slightly effect the height of the strings in relation to the neck. I say again, a neck releif problem isn't going to have anything to do with trem angle.
