I like fast guitar playing when used wisely. You know the kind of thing that gives you goosebumps. Examples of extremely fast picking yet goosebumpy can be heard on for the love of god, a run in Cry For You by Andy Timmons, Erotomania by Dream Theater, Cliffs of Dover....

There´s no point in playing fast if you dont say anything with your notes. For God´s sake everybody can type but not everybody can write a book.

Im sorry but guitar players like Rusty or this FAreri guy just give me a headache. And I have most of shrapnells catalogue. But those gusy back then knew how to be melodic and oiriginal. If not check out Infrablue by Joey Tafolal. Really cool, and fast.

His name is Joey Tafolla, the guy from Jag Panzer. I haven't heard any of Joey's solo stuff, but I like some of the Jag stuff.
