I am wanting to buy a floyd rose locking trem and nut, how do I determine the nut width/string width , I hear it varies on each guitar...and also how much should I pay for it all, (not including installation).

If it helps, I have an OLP musicman MM1 guitar.

any help would be SO appreciatied!!

This should really be under Ibanez and other guitars, but oh well the mods can move it....

Anyway to answer your question, take your guitar to a local guitar tech or a shop, and they should be able to tell you what width or whatever you need (i dont really know sorry).

Its ok I found out the relevent info, my OLP MM1 guitar is a 1-11/16 nut and ive found a good floyd that will fit it just fine, thanks for all the NON Help.
