I was just remembering up in Canada (nov 2010) @ the master class when you exclaimed, "hey man, I'm gonna be 50 this year", well the day is upon us brotha! (ok now i'mma get essoteric on yo ass) My gift to you on this day is to express my gratefulness to the universe for your existance and all that you create. All of your expressions through the years have brought a great deal of happiness to us all. And you have certainly added to the quality of my life with your creations and inspirations.
The greatest achievement that any being can offer is to embrace their expression and God given talent, you my brotha... Are that personified!
So today, I will celebrate your Birthday by helping others to express themselves, I am spending the entire day with one of my students who has autism. His name is John, and we are going to play guitar and laugh and sing and be happy
, as I hope you will be on this most special of days... Your Birthday... UR 777 Steve have the greatest of days.

P.P.S. When I got back from Canada, I plugged the guitar in and it worked just fine! No signal loss or attenuating (weird huh? Remember when I plugged it in on stage there was almost no signal, and no distortion
