hi guys! long time no speak! :)

Okay i have started transcribing the dance of eternity (dream theater) and i need some help with the time signatures in tme song....

In the part between 00:43 and 00:56 when there are crazy sus4th chords going on in the background (i think) what is the time signature? i got 7/8,4/4,again 7/8 and then 6/8 (repeated twice) is it correct? thx for ur time!!

This seems to be correct to me.

i bet you will have fun with that. the time signature changes like 200 times in that song. good luck

amano.cud u help me with one thing....how do u kno where the measures are ending.coz i dont seem to get an idea (in that paticular part,that is) :oops:

Yeah, the counting is the same, it's just that I counted the whole section and you only did the second part.

And I usually know the measure by counting in four four, and then I see if it fits or not, and adjust my measures accordingly.
