Hear, hear :!:

NAMM is in two months. Will there be a 20th Anniversary JEM or not :?:

As interesting as it is to think of the guitar each of us wants to see, I want to know if there is going to be one at all, and exactly what it will be. Surely someone knows at least enough to say "Yes, it's coming" :D or "No, not this year ..."

I've already confirmed that there will be a 20th Anniversary Jem in this thread. You'll have to wait until NAMM to see it.

Bloody hell, 20th Anniversary?... I am getting old.... oh well, nothing new there.

Thanks Mikey for confirming that to us all, it would be nice if there were a few lefties on the menu, but that's too much for Ibanez.

Anyway, later guys and thanks again Mikey, peace.

Thanks. I didn't read through 22 pages as I'm exceptionally lazy and/or too busy working. I'm glad to hear of the NAMM unveiling of the 20th Anniversary, but surpised that the Ibanez website hasn't even a hint about it (at least, not one that I wasn't too lazy/busy to find).

ibanez jem 50th anniversary

#323 Post by leigh01 » Fri Dec 08, 2006 3:42 pm

1. dont make it cheap it wont be as good quality

2. give every type a special touch like a saying or phrase on the head stock and make it so there is one phrase the same on only about ten

3. hand sign every one meaning steve vai

4. do a metalic blue with purple floyd rose bridge locking of course and all metal pieces purple

5. put in a sustainer pickup and piezo bridge

6. also do a wireless buit in system with a jack plug which is remote so you dont have to worry about the lead falling out

7. i would love to see all that for less than £3000 but only japanese made with say a japanese certificate cos the korean made guitars are dreadful

shamefully even if it was cheaper than £1000 i wouldnt be able to afford it because im in debt for buy a standard japanese ibanez jem7v for even the good price of £1400.

thanx 4 readin this message

I'm really looking forward to seeing these new models!!! I agree with Gabe's #3 idea of a gold plated Jem.

I think if a new jem was designed it should be completely like no other one expected. Ibanez should have Steve really think outside the box for this one.
