Hey dudes,
I'm looking at getting a seven string guitar, preferably with a floyd rose trem (or something similar).How much do you think it will cost, and does anyone have any recommendations?

I have ordered a Dean RC7 myself!

People who have been so lucky that they got to try it at namm says that its the sweetest playing 7 string ever!

I payed 2025 us dollar for it.. That includes shipping ;)

Gonna have to pay up some more on import taxes tho :? but its SO worth it!

The UV777 looks awesome but I think it might be a BIT out of my price range :(
I think the most I can spend is a few hundred pounds, what do you think the bottom of the range of what I am looking for costs?

You could always look into Schecter guitars.. Jeff Loomis is endorsed by them..

Very good guitars, but not as expensive as Dean or the higher class Ibanez

Like others mentioned, depends on what you're willing to spend. If you're going to look used, look into the older Ibanez RG7620 or RG7621, one of them has a FR, dont remember which one.

I'm not a big fan of the Schecter 7-string guitars, the necks are too bulky for me. I haven't tried Loomis's 7 though, haven't come across it yet.
