ok...
it's taken me over a year. but i now have enough money.
enough money to buy a jem :D
went to the store a couple of days ago and i was standing right infront of a jem7vwh and jembrmr (bad horsie).

for the life of me i can't make up my mind.
they are the same price (which is strange because the brmr is usally more)
i know the differences, alder verses basswood, breeds verses evo's.

but i thought who better to turn to, to help me come to a decision than you guys.

Consider wich one will make You feel better. Wich one will make You feel prouder. Wich one will get the most of your love.

Go with that one.

Not the one You think will look cooler. Not the one that others will think look cooler on You. Not even the one you get the best deal on.
(If it's not the same answer as above.)

It's always easier to buy a new guitar later, than longing for the love that got lost for other reasons.

...my 2 cents.

And big Congratz!!! I'm happy for You right now!

thanks heaps man.

im going with a friend tomorrow to the store.
for now i have decided that im going to go with the 7vwh.
the brmr had the appeal of being a show guitar, getting up infront of my school and sending beams of light out into the crowd can't help but be appealing. but for some reason that guitar seems too....... separate, unpersonal. the 7vwh seems like guitar that i could really connect with, and eventually become one with. which is what is the goal at the end of the day.

but im sure that my mind will change 20 times before i get there.

so yea, we are going to go and play and sus out these two beauties untill we are completly settled on one. and thats the one that shall be mine.

thanks again

ok ok.
we were there for a about 2 hours.
and suprisingly my mind didn't change the predicted 20 times.
and i have stuck with the 7vwh.

i can't find a flaw in it.
it's amazing in every sence of the word and i now know why there is such a following behind this instrument.

so far the trem returnes perfectly evertime and the evo's suit the amp set up i have just swell.
what really got me is when i sat down to play this jem, all of the songs and licks i allready knew came out so easily.
usually it takes me quite a while to get used to a guitar, but with the jem it was actually easier.

ahaha i sound like a promo

thanks for the help :D

Very nice decision, you won't be dissapointed. When I got mine I was very OVER paranoid!!!! Also, MAKE SURE, that your ceiling fan is off and any other fan that turns at about 350 rpm, it makes your strings sound like they have been through nuclear waste.

It's a great guitar, i really feel my guitar with passion.
