Dave Weiners guitars

#1 Post by mayuka » Tue Oct 06, 2009 7:20 pm

why are Dave's guitars so ugly. Like the joke in the Live in Astoria that Dave's guitar was the ugliest in the world, I think his 7 string ibanez is even worse looking, but sounded pretty good :P

I liked his guitars in the G3 Denver show, that one guitar with orange on the outer edge and grey on the body was cool. You get a good look at it during the I'm the hell outta here song.

I dont know Dave personally, but from the interviews and other media out there with him in it, I am thinking that is kind of the point.

They all look fairly normal to me.

They're all your standard regular guitar shapes etc. just rather ugly and odd looking colours in my opinion. I like changes to the norm, I love the jem guitars and all of their various colours...Dave's ones are just bad to my eyes.

As I recall, he likes his guitars to have conventionally ugly colors. :)
