So who are your list of fav living guitarist you would like to meet that you haven't met yet
Then maybe at the end we can be pretentious and make a list of all the names and see who has met the most out of all of them.
Mines: IN ORDER
1. Brian May
2. EVH
3. Prince
4. David Gilmour
5. Eric Clapton
6. BB King (I snuck back stage right next to the tourbus and was 1 second from going up on the bus to meet him then got kicked out by the promoter)
7. Steve Lukather
8. Steve Stevens
9. Paul/Gene/Ace- Kiss
10. Tom Delongue (wow bet you dont see that name much here on this forum)
And overall if i could meet anyone on the planet- Paul McCartney
The top 4-5 are kind of hard to come by- BB Kings ususally known for being approchable and meeting fans, Steve L and Steve S- I hopefully get to meet in NAMM in January.

Honestly, I am not interested in meeting any of those people except maybe Gilmour. I have met Gene Simmons, Portnoy, Petrucci, Gary Hoey, Dweezil Zappa and of course, Steve a couple of times.
But, that is just me, I'm sure others would like to meet those folks.

I would like to meet your dog, he seems like a cool guy.

i have heared awful things and horror stories about Yngwie-
HOWEVER me and 2 friends of mine sat with Yngwie and his wife for 2 hours (mostly about Bach) in 2003, and he was incredibly kind- and the nicest guy and was completely suprised....
ALTHOUGH i will tell you it was the first night of the tour- if i caught him on the last nite of the tour it could have been a different story.
the biggest Aholes i've ever met- Korn, and Maynerd James Keenan.
Nicest- SV, Slash, and overall as a band all the guys in Rise Against were so kind.

We had 5 star tickets for their tour that year. He jumped off the stage after rehearsal to talk to our little girl. She even got a kiss on the cheek lol. We also met Sammy and Mike. They gave her some free autographed swag.Jeries wrote:How'd you meet him.. he's not an easily accessable person
