Richie Kotzen new cd/video

#1 Post by sap » Thu Aug 27, 2009 8:04 am

Hey guys, I'm a big Richie Kotzen fan and here's a link to the new single off his cd "Peace Sign" due out 9/9.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhCqEfkKa5s" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Stick around to the end because he does some sick guitar licks.

Nice! Is Kotzen playing all the instruments or just for the video?

I saw him earlier this year and again next month. He will perform together with Michael Lee Firkens.

I saw him in Glasgow a couple of nights ago - I have to say he is, hands down, the finest guitarist on the planet.

He does things I cannot imagine my hands even getting close to doing. I can do a lot of Vai, but there is just something about Richie licks that are so hard to emulate. The guy is just truly unbelievable, a massive, massive talent.

What was impressive was the simplicity of the gig. He had one guitar the whole night, no guitar tech, no bullshit. He just stood there, sang his heart out and played his ass off.

The guy should be hugely famous.

Fucking X-Factor ruins everything.

Nobody is forced to participate or watch, people are just that dumb...that's what ruins everything haha.
