I hate the ending of the chorus in dark eternal night. I can't explain why but I just hate it when he sings "The daaaaark eeeeeeteeeeernaaaaaal night" it just sucks. The song is not good at all. I've listened to it 4 times but I still don't like it. I listened to images and words today and it was sooo much better

I can honestly say Mike, that I can understand why you might feel that way, but DT absolutely love what they do. They're not in it for the money, in fact they don't make nearly as much money as you might think. I spend a lot of time on Portnoy's forum, the guy lives for Dream Theater because he loves the band to death. The album is quality, I promise!! Then again, I love Dark Eternal Night, so maybe you'll disagree.

I thought it was pretty good, tho kinda one-note in how dark it is. Kinda like the TrainOf Thought album, which is my least fave DT album. Still looking forward to the album and I'm going to see them play in Oslo the 29th of September (and Symphony X is opening - how cool is that?!?)
