Hey, me and my buddys from school decided to form a band. We are having a hard time coming up with a name. We play mostly progressive and melodic metal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Call yourselves "Dream Theater", although I've a feeling I've heard that before somewhere...

Hmmm I'm pretty crap when it comes to making band names, but this sounds pretty fun so I'll make a list of names that just pop in my head. If you like them feel free to use them.

Tainted Souls
Lockdown
Dark Prophecy
Disciples Of Damnation
Intensity
Blind Serenity
Intrinsic Destruction
Toxic
First Blood

I always liked Mono/Stereo as a name...

Pik it because one of my band mates don't like it...

Try this:

It's funny if not very useful!

The the most stupidest thing i've ever seen lol. But was amusing, I typed in Rock and it generated 'Stolen Rock of the Desolate Flip'. And for Metal it gave me 'Popping Metal and the Fuzzy Pandora'.

That's such a good metal band name that it's retarded.

But then I went all out and typed in 'Severed Burgar Dyke', it gave me 'Severed Burgar Dyke of the Terrestrial Janitor'.

That's so my next album name!!!!

Thay can't cos there's a tail in the "R". The "E" wouldn't fit at all then.
