Canon in D?

Could somebody please tell me if Yngwie Malmsteen did cover this track as i have heard of him performing it but it doesnt appear to be on any of his albums.

There was a file on a lot of the p2p programs showing Yngwie in the title, but it's not him.

Transiberian orchestra did Canon in D. I know this because they played it at my high school for the class of '05 graduation.

you should be able to tell if it's really yngwie, because his playing is distinct and easy to spot.

I agree, i am aware that these p2p files artists are sometimes mistaken, however even though i have been told it isnt yngwie, in my opinion it really sounds like him and i wouldnt mind knowing who it is playing the tune. So if anyone knows id appreciate it.
