Does anyone here listen to Stanley Jordan? He really is an amazing guitarist.
Try to download some of his stuff if you can.
When he plays, he taps with both of his hands. He also does some wicked hybrid picking. On his recordings, as far as I know, it's just him playing guitar.
When he plays, it sounds like three guitars playing at once. He is able to play a bassline, rhythm guitar, and solo all at the same time.
Check him out.
Stanley Jordan
Yeah Stanley Jordan is great. I first found out about him when I played midnight at an open-guitar night at a pub...someone told me I played just like Stanley Jordan (who I had never heard of at that point). I checked some of his stuff out and I'm a pretty big fan now.

I have one of his records. It's not musical to me. It's a parlor trick.

The first time I ever heard SJ was in the movie "Blind Date". He freaking blue my mine in that one little scene.
