I couldn't put it better than Steve when he said that this version of the song is an "ocean of lushness".

I think even just the arrangement is sublime, and with all due respect to the original version (which is beautiful in its own right, that's what made history after all), I feel I like this interpretation a little more, I can't really explain the reason but I think it's very unique.

This is a very nice making-of video, it seems to me it truly shows a glimpse of the atmosphere of the recording session.

So beautiful, thanks for posting. :)

Pure bollocks if you listen to the purported backwards messages(Wiki even provides audio clips)

To me it's a respectful rendition, a true ocean of (cheesy)oops lushness indeed. More royalties for Mr Page.

I'm sure it will be pretty good. I actually really like her version of U2's One.

As long as she doesn't 'warble' too much, it should be a pretty good track.

PS. For a woman of her age, I definitely would.

I love Steve so much that I hate to say this. The track is terrible IMHO. I can't think of any redeemable qualities the track has. To me, it's very disrespectful of the original, and I'm disappointed that Steve was involved in bringing it to life. Only Bono could have thought this was a good idea. It's beyond weak.

Is it just me, or is that Orianthi girl a bit overrated? I find her playing to be average and even sloppy at times.

Mary mentioning shoe shopping as a way of buying heaven / peace did it for me.

Nice one Mary - made me stop and think.
