I wouldn't mind seeing Steve shake it up and bring a lead vocalist aboard for the next album and/or tour. Who would you realistically (i.e., Robert Plant probably ain't happening) like to see singing with Vai? Personally, I think Sebastian Bach would kick some ass.

I'd personally really like to see him do something experimental with Scott Weiland, something heavy with John Corabi
or/and, of course, something intense with Devin Townsend again. :headbang
Oh yeah, and James Cameron should produce a video of one Steve's songs...that'd be awesome :)

I'd prefer and unknown singer (to avoid comparisons) and a female one at that-a woman's voice can be fragile and endearing at the same time. Not a 'rawk' voice-something more...musical.

I was listening to some Skid Row yesterday and had this exact same thought.

Bach +1.

I think my favourite scenario would be for Steve to put a few vocal songs onto each album, like he's been doing for the past while. As much as I love what he does, i'd like for him to sing more than he does actually, during concerts too. Seeing as I actually like his singing and his songs with vocals a great deal, I wouldn't wish for him to bring in another singer.

Steve Vai.

Or Bjork... she would fit perfectly. :)

Steve himself mentioned that the did all the singing on the last album because he could not get the vocalists he wanted to participate. So, we are helping him out with some fresh guest vocalists ideas!

How about Paul Stanley? Very underrated singer who did a song on Sarah Brightman's last album and did Phantom of the Opera.

I think Steve can handle all the singing duties.
He's quite capable...

I would, however, like to see him collaborate with a producer.
That would be interesting.

I think Phil Spector is otherwise occupied.
