I've been listening to so much Pink Floyd recently-mainly their later stuff-its brilliant. Glimour's guitar work, although very bluesy (not my thing) is just so tastefully done and the melodies......I can't get them out of my head!

So I'll be hearing blues licks every week as I leave Ains house?

Pink floyd are just wonderful... Great music and amazing lyrics from Roger... Even their post Roger stuff is still great... And Dave's latest solo album is majestic ('smile' is a beautiful/sad masterpiece)

Dave's tones are fantastic... I do love this band.

And if you haven't checked it out I can't recommend Roger Waters 'Amused to Death' album high enough. It has Jeff Beck on guitar and Roger is in career best form... Get it, you'll life will be better from the first track, I promise!

'It's a Miracle':
"Lloyd-Webbers awful stuff runs for years and years and years... An earthquake hits the theater, but the operetta lingers... Then the piano lid comes down, and breaks his fu*king fingers... its a miracle"

Go Roger!

I have to say I prefer Floyd without Waters, but then I don't really listen to lyrics and I believe Waters' were excellent. Gilmour's solo output is just great although 'About Face' is a little too 'Phil Collins' for me!

Years ago, I asked Rich Pike, (Steve's former assistant, and if any of you subscribed to GKS back in the day, Rich put that together...), if Steve was a Gilmour fan, he told me they discussed him a bit, but not much more than that.

Rich, on the other hand, is a big fan of Gilmour.
