Is Sound Theories the first time...

Steve's work has been performed by an orchestra? Also the first time he has worked with one? I really enjoyed the album and am not sure if theres anything else like it ..

Hi,

As Steve mentions with uncontrollable excitement, being commissioned to work with this orchestra was the first time he was asked to compose, and I'm pretty sure the first time he's work with an orchestra on a grand level such as taking on a full project. A 'dream come true' in his own words.

Yeah, it really is so out there. It's absolutely glorious.

He has mentioned in interviews that he composed a piece for his school orchestra while he was still in highschool

and theres a load or orchestral instruments on the song "Lucky Charms", no idea if thats all session musicians or just synths in the studio (or a mix of both), I doubt its a full out orchestra

No, he's done it before, in '91 and '95 I think.

In 2002, Steve played with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra a piece called 'Fire Strings'. No recordings available :?

That's right. But it was recorded, so maybe one day..?
