Any idea whether Vai will be doing shows in Western Canada like Edmonton and Calgary sometime after September?

I don't think Eric is opening but I could be wrong for the US leg. Billy is definitely not playing with his for the European dates, fairly sure not for the US ones either. It sucks :(
Wow....I wonder why he's not playing. I know the Breed was supposed to be doing some other stuff, but.
Did you see Vai while he was overseas? Who was in the band, and how was he if you dont mind me asking.
I heard it was Steve's choice he is not playing with him.

Billy will be touring later on in the year with Devil's Slingshot (Tony Macalpine and Virgil Donati). I think Steve said that as it was a relatively short tour he'd like to do something different.
I'm sure he'll be recording with The Breed soon enough after the tour though.
I think he's auditioning the band now, not sure who'll be playing with him.
I'll miss Billy :(

I saw Steve here a couple years back. They serve booze in the House of Blues durng the show, no one under 21 was allowed in.

Well i know that alchohol cant be the reason for the 21 and over. Because all they need to do is give ur a wristband that tells the guy wether or not your old enough to drink.

The reason is probably more along the lines of what the people of the casino say. since HoB is part of a casino. So that means that mandalay bay makes the rules.

No "Ram's Head live" @ Baltimore??!!

The venue's vibe and PA system ROCKS for an intimate yet killer sounding place for Mr. Vai!!! plus you can stand up to see a show, like you're suppose to anyway (to stand and participate as an active audience with Steve and co. somehow meant respect and love of the higher levels =-)

I hope the VA show can fit in all the Vai fans and their vibes (duno how they could do it at birchmere)...and no, i won't be sitting down =p
I was really hoping Vai would come back to Rams Head in Baltimore too, I emailed them a few times asking to bring him back, it's such a nice venue and only an hour away, but oh well, now I have to drive to VA. From what I've read though it looks like Steve is playing in the Band Stand area which is apparently GA standing room only, my order from Music Today said GA also. I was really hoping he'd be in the Music Hall, I don't know where they're going to put everyone. I thought the last time he played there he was in the Hall. Doing the EVO package in Baltimore, I know that standing around from 3:30 on gets a little tiring but it'll be well worth it. There was no way I was going to miss it.

God, how can you stand from 3:30 to like 11 when the concert ends? That's nuts. I mean, what would you do about washroom breaks and stuff?

There's usually time to use the washroom when you get there before the EVO starts and before the doors open, it's really not that bad.
