Australian G3 06, vai satch and petrucci

Yuss, finally what I've been waiting for, for the last 5 years..

I missed joe in New Zealand, Missed Vai in Australia.. and now i get both of them plus Petrucci!! in a G3!!


a few questions,

I know its just news, but does anyone know of any of the places that will be gigged.. because I want to book far ahead... Tickets, accomadation and flights from New Zealand...

I believe it is actually Satch, Eric Johnson, and John Petrucci. Steve said that himself when he was at the National Guitar Workshop, and it is also on Eric Johnson's website

there may be another one with eric johnson, however its posted here in the news thing and on steve's myspace that its him petrucci and satch..

I just wanna know the venues.. i hvae friends in Brisbane. and Melbourne.. and sydney.. i just need to know which place is being gigged so i can arrange things haha.


man i wish they would've made the DVD now so that some of those screams would be from me instead of a whole bunch of people from tokyo

Whoops!, I just read that and i too am now super excited! I live in California and my dad also loves Steve, Joe, and Eric. So there is a chance we might see them!

The G3 in Mexico and South America does not include Steve. He will be on the Zappa Plays Zappa tour at that time, so I suspect South America will be Satriani, Petrucci and Johnson - a killer lineup.

Steve is conformed for the Australian tour though, and that is the only place the G3 tour will be going through. It won't be expanded or extended, because Steve will leave that tour and directly join the December leg of Zappa Plays Zappa.

The Australian tour will visit Brisbane first, then Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Oh, that is a awesome line-up all though i would still love to see Steve again. Do you know where they will be going in Mexico Mikey?
Also will there be evo tickets available for the show in L.A. this september?

I don't know specifics on Mexico other than it's October.

No EVO tickets for the LA benefit show - at the moment anyway.. It would be a great extra fundraiser, but may be too difficult to organize..
