Ok, well lets do somthing about this seeing as we have the intrest. I'll get a backing track sorted. I'm just going to choose one as everyone will have different opinions on what they want.

Also, forget about the AudioStreet.net idea, I will be hosting the file on a site called Sendmefile.com. The file will be valid for 14 days which should be enough. If not I can always host it again.

So when you get the file I would ask you to either host it on your own sever/website if you have one or else simply go to http://www.sendmefile.com and host it.

I'll have a backing track by the end of the day. Start warming up!

Ok, got the track done. It's in the key of 'A' but hopefully that shouldn't be a problem. It's actually a backing track of Red House that I chopped up a bit. It's not bad I think.

It lasts a good 6mins so pleanty of time for plenty of people but remember not everybody can play on it. I'm not going to make it any longer than it is now.

The track can be downloaded here-http://www.sendmefile.com/00028360

So whos going to be first to add their solo? :) Once one of you does host it on Sendmefile.com or on your own site or whatever.

Lets get jammin'! :)

So how many times are you intending us to run through the progression?

Seems like there might be a better way to do this.....I'm not sure.

One run through each would be good for 11 or 12 people to join in.

I assume by 1 one run you mean 12 bars? I think 12 bars each is fine. I'd like to think we could do more of these jams in the future and 11-12 people would be a good number to start with to see if it works well and if it's worth doing more.

Yeah, 12 bars. Okay, fine with me. I just wasn't sure what you intended.

I couldn't write a 6 minute solo guitar piece to save my life. And I've only been learning for a year and a couple months. I'm gonna download the song and try anyway.

You'll only be writing 12-bars not 6 minutes.

And congrats to Will for being the first player on the jam. So the next player downloads the file he posted and plays there solo next. You get it! :)

Well, any good song's gotta have a bottom!!

It just makes it easier for the people who can't shred.
