Hello folks, first, want to wish you all a great New Year.

Then, as I have lot's of pictures from the concerts I attend in europe, a friend of mine who uses to watch and edit my pictures send me ones with some "cartoon" edition. As I have enjoyed so much and it's diferent from what we used to see around here, I asked some more and showed to the band members that enjoyed so much the final work.

I wanted to share them with you folks, in case you want to see. For now I gonna put one and let's see if the page is visited by the vai.com folks.

thanks for the picture, I sure like it very much, it's different than what you usually see with regard to concert photography and it's very nice.
By the way, did you get a new camera? Looking forward to see all of your other photos!

Ok, here we go with some more, hope isn't too much. Didn't put here earlier because I'm having some problems with my photobucket account.
Samuele, this pictures was taken with a Sony DSLR-390. I used that camera in Tilburg and Brussels. Then, during the trip my small camera got a problem and I bought one in Luxembourg. Was a Pentax K-M, that I used in the Portuguese concerts.
But this pictures was taken 95% by the Sony one.

Thanks for sharing your pictures, I like them very much. I find there is a "lightness" to them not only in terms of the actual light they possess, but also in terms of "lack of weight". I also like the colors, too. In fact, I think they give you the impression that the band members are almost "floating", and a general feeling of uplift, which is what you get when you are at one of the shows.
They all are beautiful, and I think I can see why the guys chose the ones they chose. Personally, I would add the following one as one of my favorites (let me guess... Whispering?):

Samuele, don't know if that picture is from Whispering, I have to check it out but it's very easy to find out just regarding Steve movements and expressions to know what song he's playing
And I know what you mean with "floating"
