I think that now in bridge position is former Evo bridge pickup (evolution prototype).

I dont think so...
i think it orig had PAF Pro in it and then changed it to an EVO2 a long long time ago

it goes perfect with the basswood body
(flo was a floral jem not a normal white one)

all about flow
was floral jem... painted white- sanded in an AANJ

had a few necks (one with the inly up to the 12 fret and the rest dots)

had some weird tuners on it (gold without the heads)

now has reg tuners

sustainer put in
had PAF pros now has an EVO 2

the sustainer is a single coil driver w/sustainer switches/extra knob...

its pretty

the end...all about flo

that reminds me i should mention to those not familiar with the sustainer system....

whenever the sustainer its on, the guitar is automatically set to the bridge position. no matter the number of pickups or kinds or wiring, the toggle switch is useless when sustainer is on.

I was wondering if Steve had changed the configuration on Flo with regards to his sustainer. In the new DVD, it looks as if Steve may be using a Sustainiac and not his standard Fernandes Sustainer. I know there is a section on the website where Steve's guitar tech Thomas talks about Steve thinking about switching to the Sustainiac becauase it can sustain better in the higher registers on the guitar neck and put out better harmonics as well. There are definitely some scenes in the DVD that look like a Sustainiac to me. Does anybody know if there is any truth to this. Thanks.

Nope, there wasn't and isn't a Sustainiac in Flo, it's a Fernandes 401 unit. Steve has 1 Sustainiac in one of his BRMR jems (Bad Horsie mirror) - or at least had. He obviously prefers Fernandes.
