The more I think about Steve working on a new trem with Ibanez, the more hopefull I get. There is a reason why Steve sticks with the Lo Pro edge, so hopefully he'll get them to keep the positive aspects/feel of that fantastic trem combined with some newer tech (such as the zero resistance). I can't wait to see this, and as a gigging musician, I'm looking forward to anything that can make my life easier.

Maybe he's working on a non- locking trem. Remember the "Thomas Nordegg Featurette"?
This is what Thomas said:
