Did I imagine it or did he say that FTLOG was out of key in an interview similar to this? I don't remember exactly but I'm sure it was him. Since then I've been reluctant to take his opinion seriously. I think it's bizarre that he has the neck to say Joe Satriani is out of tune and horrible.

I;ve ordered from Vai.com numerous times, going through seenon but mostly Bandmerch. I've had nothing but good experiences with Bandmerch, not just with Steve'e merch either. I have a strong suspicion that seenon charged my card more than once, I'm getting my bank to check this though.

I was thinking of classic Deep Purple, I'm not surprised Coverdale couldn't get the high notes, it wasn't really his forte. That's not really Deep Purple to my mind. Roger Glover never sang any "high notes" on Deep Purple records. What you may be thinking of is the Mk III version of the band where ...

I believe it's okay for EVO but you'll have to bring it back to your car/hotel right after EVO, not allowed for the gig.

^^^Yeah, I agree. Someone usually gets pissed off. And it generally ends up with people taking the piss out of Metallica.

^^^ I thought my mam would go nuts when she saw my first one (some 8 years ago now) but she was grand. She'd just had one herself when I got it so she couldn't really say anything.

I never heard this but I'd be interested to know it's true too. It's hard to imagine anyone singing the high notes, even Ian Gillan.
