Uh weapon, sorry to tell you but tone is in your fingers/amp/effects etc, not just the guitar . anyway to answer your question - try out both guitars if possible! Anyway my choice would be the jem, simply because i have liked them since i first saw one

Carpel tunnel is in the wrist, cubital tunnel is the elbow........ you know the bony bit on the inside? (the funny bone). Every time you hit your 'funny bone' your doing the nerves in your arm long term damage that sucks but its getting better, just stiffer though!
