Theyve pretty much got konx explained, but the other words you saw are probably just the names of his guitars: Evo, Flo, EvoII, etc. Ive had problems with my high e getting caught under the pickup too. I didnt put tape there, I jsut changed my technique.

It will just feel a little different and I suppose it could possibly scratch up the bottom side of the neck. It cant effect you too much, I mean look at Yngwie. He wears tons of em.

You mean a guitar synth, right? He uses a Roland guitar synth, but did he take his 77FP on tour with him?

If you have the GK3, do you need the GR 20 or GR 33 to get the synths or can you get them with the pickup alone?

In no particular order: Steve Vai : Just mind-blowing. He has some of the best chops I've seen and can put so much emotion into his music. The first song of his I heard was Die to Live and I was immediately hooked. Songs like Die to Live, Km Pee Du We, Giant Balls of Gold, and I Know You're Here are...

The bad horsie jem is alot more than the 7V, but the only differences are cosmetic. If you prefer the looks and have the money to waste, by all means, go ahead, but if youre struggling to save, stick to a prestige or 7V.

Well Ill get a recording when I can play guitar again. I broke my wrist about an hour ago. :( I have trouble getting the sounds at the end too. I do it the way he did on the astoria DVD with the bar effects. I should be able to get a recording next week sometime.

Jumbo frets mean that the fretwire itself is wider. What you're looking for is a smaller scale.
