truly agree with you Mat. The Images and words album has some of the best melodic solos ever. Just listen to Learning to Live. I used tobe a big DT fan but their last records,..., not my taste anymore. To me the best petrucci was on the Images and Words Live in Tokyo video. On the Learning to lIve G...

There is a song i heard a year ago that sounded 90% like tender surrender. Im dead positive it is in the 3rd Stu Hamm album (dont remember the name) or perhaps Randy Coven..

The album was from the late 80s early 90s.

STEVES MOST UNDERRATED SONG

I think that DAMN YOU happens to be one his best compositions. It´s got tons of attitude, great rhythm, great vocal work. Had it been on the MTV Im sure it would have been a TOP 20 song in the likes of pop/alternative/commercial songs. Just my 0,02€ PS-Try listening to this song after having 3 beers...

BASS TRIBUTE

This one is for those that have the amazing Victor Wooten CD, Soul Circus. There is a song called BASS TRIBUTE where Vic and friends speak up names of great bass players for like 2 minutes. Since there are several people talking at the same time it is really hardvfor me to get all those names. Those...

Don´t wanna start a fuss around this. I love Vai´s stye in the 80s as much as I love 80s rock. However I think that that was then, this is now. He was in his early 20´s back then, full of testosterone. Now he is 46, has a reputation and doesn´t have to prove his caliber any more. An artist is in a c...

Im glad it ended up alright.

You guys just dont want to mess with people in the nightlife and certain club owners.

There are times when things on the nightlife operate as in a gangster movie in Brooklyn.

To get Steve Vai to play in your birthday party, you would have to become one of the biggest donors in the world, donate millions of $ to fighting starvation, diseases..., have a speech at the UN and all that. That means become an individual that is respected worldwide for what you do in helping out...
