Edge Pro Trem

Can somebody tell me why it's not a good idea to use the ball end of a string as a "stop" at the tuning post? Ie. run the string thru the tuning post full length to the ball . . . secure the string to the trem and start tuning up. I believe Steve said this runs afoul of good tone from the guitar . ....

I like Jeremy while he's backing the tunes. It's solo time when things go south. I was amazed . . . expected a Vai like experience and was rewarded with a cross between Neil Peart and Travis Barker . . . more to the Barker side. When I first heard Vai it was Mangini on the cans . . . and oh brother ...

Go with the Sens . . . much better sound quality . . . . Bose is the only way to to go on airplanes . . . but way to expensive for your intended use.
