Re: SATRIANI SUES COLDPLAY

I have two guilty pleasures: I like both 'Viva La Vida' and 'Life in Technicolour'! Its all Satch's fault as I kept listening to the former to compare it to his and the latter has a rather cute intro riff. I don't know, I haven't touched my guitar in months as I'm bored of it and now this ! Turn ba...

Re: Cirque du Soleil and Steve Vai

To each his own, I guess. To me, it sounds like the most silly hippie-idea I could ever imagine. Pretentious poppycock.

Re: OMG How did I miss steve in chat?!?!?!?!

How ironic is that? Steve logs in to chat with his fans, and noone is around. And there are so many of us.

Re: SATRIANI SUES COLDPLAY

I really hope he wins for the simple reason that I believe Chris Martin is Satan's spawn and was sent to earth to piss us all off. It's funny how I pictured Satan's spawn to be a little more charismatic than that. I am also quite certain, that Satan's spawn would be able to write better music and l...

Re: Reviewers are not People

Critics have their own tastes and their own (or their employers) modus agendi. Not everyone will like or understand what you like afterall. I personally don't get Zappa'a music at all and hence I don't like the vast majority of it, but that's just my taste. However it wouldn't stop my ability to gi...

Re: Reviewers are not People

The problem is exactly the opposite of what the headline states. Reviewers are only people. That's the simple truth. And those who have given two or three stars to Frank's albums are probably the most honest reviewers around. The only thing you can learn from a review is, what this one guy or girl t...

Re: New Board

Looks good. Very down to earth. As updates go, this is the way it should be done, way better than the black version. And it may just be simpler for some people ti use the html services more creatively.

I saw them in Malmö. They only played liken an hour or so, but it felt like much more! What a concert! My girlfriend called it doomsday music, and with all the red and yellow light on stage, that was a rather fitting description. And man, I love Obzen! Album of the year without a doubt.

Not to mention Madonna vs. Abba.

I think Mikey told us that it was takeb from that sample cd, along with a few others. Something free or shareware pr something. Really simple, but in Steve's hands it is now a classic. Rather impressive, I say.

And as long as an artist, in this case Steve, has those self same backing tracks available for purchase, everything is good. I found it to be a problem, when tab sites were being closed, without the tabs being available for sale. That bummed me out. I pay for music, and I wouldn't mind paying for ba...
