Yes his playing is pretty sloppy and he actually doesn't sound as good as he does with his marshalls but thats Yngwie. By the way I don't think that we should judge whether Yngwie is good or not good by this one performance. I've heard sloppy performances from nearly every "guitar master" but that d...

There's no whammy pedal in that song. Yes there is. It`s the secret behind his tongue harmonics at the end of the song. reminder about the tongue trick...have a look at what he does with his right hand "just" when he makes that harmonic... In the quoted post I was referring to the studio ver...

I can't tell you why is a great tune by a great band.
My favourite ballad would be November Rain by Gn'R. Not only because in my opinion it features some of the tastiest playing Slash has ever recorded.

Although he's been one of my favourite guitarists the only thing I can say is: don't do drugs. He looks like a wrecked, poor old man. This was not EVH; the guy who inspired half the worlds guitarists with his brownsound and tapping.

It's probably custom-tailored.
I was also playing with the thought of getting one, but then decided not to do so, because it looks kind of over the top. At least when you're not Steve Vai and do not play the biggest venues in town.

The Jem was always a 'show' guitar... ...don't get me wrong, I mean, Steve can give you one hell of a show and that's just how we like him! :P So now they made the jem even more 'showable' then before... What's the problem?? That's just about what the jem is all about (my opinion). Shred On :guitar...

Why don't you try this one: http://www.thomann.de/thoiw2_digitech_digi_verb_bodeneffektpedal_prodinfo.html Used to play the Boss reverb but never got so happy with it, so i decided to try something else. The Digiverb was astonishingly good sounding, delivering seven different reverbs. By the way, it ...

Using two separate delay pedals

After having used an fx rack for a couple of years, i decided to sell it and go with a bunch of pedals again. Now ,since i love delays i bought two dd 3's. I want to use both delay pedals with different delay settings simultaneously. The first delay is set to 300ms and the second to 600ms each with ...

Recently i switched from a tc gmajor to a setup using a bunch of pedals.Since i need an octave effect i bought the Boss oc3. Do you guys put this thing into the loop(and if so,where?) or do you run this thing in front of the amp? My pedal chain looks like this: Guitar,Compressor,BH Wah,DS1,Mxr Phase...

I noticed that there is a lot of hating going around on the Metal Zone. It's a great pedal if you spend a lot of time finding that right sound. There are so many knobs on that thing that I think people give up on it. It's not the knobs, it's about that harsh buzzsawy sound that comes out of it. Eve...
