What a great performace from both Nelly & Steve(of course)!I must admit I didn't like Nelly before that performance but now i even bought her latest album which is also really good! Steves playing is so tasteful and adds a lot of passion to the song.By the way it reminds a little bit of "Little wing...

I don't think the Legacy has crap parts in it,its built to last like the older Marshalls! The Legacys clean channel is probably the best I've ever heard! The dirty channel is also great but in my opinion the 5150s dirty is better!Thats just my opinion! The Legacy and the 5150 are great amps,so i think...

Hi NOT!! I think that the bad horsie might not be the right wah for you.It has a very smooth "waaaaaaaah" sound, not as strong as the Vox or the Crybaby. It does not distort that strong, thats why many guitarists dont like it and prefer the vox or the crybaby. It is possible that your pedal is technica...

What about E.Clapton? His vibrato ,to me, is very unique and tasteful.I also like the vibrato of Andy Timmons. His vibrato produces an extremely long sustain and allows him to play mid-gain settings that sound like high gain.Very nice!

Yeah "Ya Yo gakk" is a really funny tune! I like the idea behind that song. But I love "all about eve" and "Brother"
Another great tune to me is Steve's version of "little wing" on the G3 DVD( I know that it's not Steve who wrote that song1)'cause he puts so much emotion into that piece!

What about Tender surrender? I consider that piece really heavy!it's played pretty fast and Steve shows all of his skills.Just note how many different scales he uses! 8) The use of the vol.pot is just incredible! And of course tapping, sweep&speed picking, legato runs, bendings etc. But:it's not only ab...

Pod xt pro

I bought a pod xt pro(the rack-version)three months ago, after having played a Laney vh 100r head for over four years.I use it with a peavey classic 50/50 poweramp and i have to say it's the best sound i've ever had!I play mainly rock stuff but i also need a good clean and crunch sound. The clean ones...

Re: Hey steeda!

So Steve's masturbatory use of the whammy bar "fits" in Little Wing? I don't know if you realize, but most rock tunes are based on classical chord progressions and scales. I think you are confusing harmonic minor with "classical". A harmonic minor scale isn't any more "classical" then the pentatoni...

Hey steeda!

All of these guys can play pretty much any style with ease!Otherwise they wouldn't be as good as they really are. I didn't like Yngwie's solos in the last three songs of the DVD.The three songs have very different characteristcs and styles."Keep on rockin'" is a rock tune and "little wing" and "Vood...

Today I finally got my G3-Live in Denver DVD.Of course the first thing I did was to throw the DVD in and watch it.Joe and Steve were very very cool!!It's really a blast to watch and listen to these guys!Yngwie (of course a great guitarist,no doubt about that!) bored me to death!I saw him live on Jul...

Wich one DS-2 or DS-1

If you want the Vai-sound go for the DS1!!
The ds2 offers a lot more gain and distortion. To me it also sounds a bit heavier, more new-metal like.
Hope that helps.
