As far as i know, this preamp was built with and for Steve Lukather!I know a dealer in Germany that destributes these preamps and that's where i had a chance to play one.It really sounds great but if you want to spend that much money on a preamp then you should try the Bogner Fish 1...

You're welcome!
Take the patch as a basis to start from. You can then design your sound around it.

I'm using a Pod xt pro 19"(currently)for gigging and all I can say is: it sounds great with my peavey classic 50/50 poweramp!I used the pod pro 19" for three years and didn't have any problems. i think you should try some of the Line 6 amps, they are much better than tube amp -fans say!

Hey badasstommyboy! I've had the same problem with my Legacy and I can tell you that the boosters and compressors didn't help. What helped me was replacing the tubes with groove tubes. It's not a perfect distorted sound but much bettr at low volume levels. This amp is not designed for being played in s...

The 7vsbl is the best Jem I have(even better than the 7vh),so you've made the best choice! What kind of a Line 6 amp have you got? I play the Pod xt pro 19" through a Peavey classic 50/50 and into a 4x 12 cab with greenbacks. The new pod sounds great(to me).I also have a Legacy head but the distorte...

I have an Ibanez RG 2000 special edition and i changed the humbuckers to Evos cause the stock RG humbuckers didnt sound goot to me.Now:an RG will never sound like a JEM (believe me I have two of 'em)due to the different woods that were used for body and neck. The RG sounds pretty good, but even the e...

What i can tell you is: buy a preamp booster.Set the boosters treble and bass to neutral.Connect the booster to your amps effects loop.Dial in the amount of db you want to boost for your leadsound. That's all.You don't have to buy something expensive, its enough to buy for example the "Nobels preamp b...

I own the DVD its called "Clapton & friends" and the version of Little Wing really sucks! Clapton has turned the song into a "John Denver kind of country-blues-thing" and his soloing is ...well like Clapton. By the way: has anybody heard Steve Lukathers version, its on the "Toto Greatest hits live" D...
