Well, only God knows if he uses it!
Anyway,I don't like Yngwie's tone either,so may he use whatever he wants to use!
I hope you'll find a pedal that serves your needs!

You're absolutely right! This thing really sucks! I played this thing in a musicstore,'cause i needed a new overdrive for my JCM 2000.It's indeed very trebly and very thin!BUT: if you have ever seen Yngwie live, you might have noticed, that he doesn't use as much gain/drive as heard on some recordings....

The stuff ya like is really cool! Stay away from that modeling-amp-shit.Right at the beginning all these knobs and many functions seem to be really cool.BUT:the longer you play the more you'll see(and hear) that there's no modeling amp that can come even close to a tube amp!!!!! Maybe the jcm 800 ma...

Hi Juice777! Last week, after having sold my crappy Line 6 pod xt pro(only used for my cover-band,but never should have bought it!!!!) and a Peavey 50/50poweramp,I went again for the DSL 100.Listen to me I've played most any expencive and not expencive amp you can think of.If you have 4000$ spare go ...

Tanks Logic for your reply!Yesterday i checked some 2x12 cabs and could a/b them with my 4x12 cab.I'll keep using my 4x12 cab 'cause it just sounds better. The 2x12 sounds like someone has thrown a towel over it, although it had the same speakers like the 4x12.I guess i'll have to keep carrying the h...

4x12 vs. 2x12 cab

Hi Vai-fans! Currently I'm using a 4x12 cab loaded with greenback celestians.I'm gigging a lot with my band and I'm getting tired of carrying around this heavy 4x12 cab. We often play clubs that are pretty small and where you have not much space on stage. That's why I'm thinking about bying a 2x12 ca...

Don't get me wrong: i have nothing against singlecoils !It's just that i dont use mine(except for some clean rhythm parts),that's why i asked.Of course you can't produce singlecoil sounds with a humbucker! It all depends on the sounds you need.I don't need'em, if you do that's nice for you!And if you...

I know what you mean!
On this forum people with this sickness are called amp-whores!And i definately am one myself!

So then go for the CEA and your third channel!
Maybe you can post some soundlinks with the CEA when you've got it.I think this would be something new to this forum!
Chears!

Really cool solo-sound and great playing!I just downloaded the first 2 min. of the AC/DC track. Why the hell are you gonna give up that sound?????????????? I didn't know you have a g-force.You can set the patch levels on the g_force a little louder for the leads,so you won't need a third channel!Tha...

No problem!
If you like the CAE then go for it!
I'm very curious about your sound and I'll download the file, although it will take a little longer with my 56 K modem! :?

Oh I see! I have a RG 2000 special edition(built '94) only with humbuckers.I 'm not very much into the latest RG models that's why i didn't know about the singlecoil, since my main guitars are Jems. But the RG is a great guitar(wasn't that good without the Evolutions!!)and that's why i still play it!...

Yeah,I've had the same problem with the Laney VHr 100. What I used to do is to put a preampbooster in the loop. If you set treb, bass and mid to neutral you can adjust the amount of db it boosts, without changing your sound. So I used the 2nd chanel for my crunch steped on my ds1 to have a real distort...

I still use the Legacy occasionally when we play bigger places where i can turn the amp up and then it's the best amp one can ever think of! Unfortunately most times we play smaller clubs and that's where the Pod xt sounds better.I'm not thinking about selling the Legacy 'cause maybe someday we'll g...
