I'm pretty sure I remember Nordegg on the behind the scenes clips mention that only Steve Vai can get them, leading me to believe that they are specially ordered.

So I'm Playing Halo 2...

Dude, the theme is just the beginning - sure, it wasn't majorly impressive to some that have heard Steve rip... BUT, get the the full Halo 2 soundtrack.... AWESOME Songs on there.

It's so fun ripping up some Convenant while Steve rips on guitar with you!

Search for a dealer by using this webpage and they can help you out by ordering them for you.

And they'll support any guitarist that will help sell some guitars and get their name out there, hence a Good Charlotte guitar - a ton of beginning guitarists listen to them.

Yes, it's a Kangol hat (Samuel L. Jackson wears them often).

Actually, your tuning problems are most likely due to your tuning machine heads. You may want to get some locking tuners (really easy to install and easier to use).

Re: Double-Posting

will just post 2 or three times in a row in the same topic. Notice he says in a row, instead of editing a post. This is pretty annoying and uneccesary, as the forums have an "Edit" button. I believe there should be a rule against it, as people can use it to up their post count and try to get a bett...

VAI-Tunes

Oh, man.. I obviously love the name since iTunes is my favorite jukebox...

But, I'm excited to see if and when Vai-Tunes goes up... Maybe this is the way for Fire Strings to get out there officially?

Awesome, and thanks for all the work, Mikey!

Re: Steve Custom Carvin

I've never seen anything like that at the studio. Mikey vai.com That stinks - Just to show you I'm not trying to make things up, here's a link to the Carvin boards. There must have been a miscommunication (most likely on my part) that makes me think that it was already delievered... But, it seems V...

Steve Custom Carvin

A employee over at Carvin let a little tidbit loose on the Carvin BBS a little while ago that they were making a custom DC127 in the "Shocking Green" color for Steve himself... Any chance we could see pictures or any official confirmation on this? (The employee said that it slipped out of the factor...

It should make the paint easier to stick.

In my experience, the best results came from using regular paints (I actually used acrylics) and then spraying on a clear coat finisher that keeps the paint there.

Good luck!

If I had a PRS Singlecut in my posession: Yeah, ban them forever! It was too close in design and Gibson has a right! *Watches pocketbook overload* Since I don't have a PRS Singlecut: Whatever, the shape has been imitated by everyone, and PRS was just the one to catch the heat because they were on G...
