Awake, definitely.
Otherwise, I&W or Falling Into Infinity.
Get Awake first, though.

Stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

There used to be loads of people asking about that on Satriani's site, but not nearly so many recently (perhaps because he doesn't have Stu anymore.) We also used to have a member called, "it is stu not boo".

Kremlin, that sounds like one cool, open minde professor. How did he get to hear firestrings, though?

BTW the new photos look extremely good.

Jeff Beck, definitely. He is so freaking amazing, and can play fantastically in many styles (put on Blow by Blow, then put on You had it coming.) That would be the best G3 ever. Apart from that, Steve Morse would be good, as would Eric Johnson (yes I know that isn't really going to happen) or sticki...

In that case, I must get the dvd. BTW it is too true what artanis said about avarice. What he didn't tell you is that once, artanis set up a new character called artifice which he used to make people angry in a similar way to avarice.

Use fingers. Also, you know how when you're doing pull offs with your left hand, there's just a certain way of pulling off which makes the note much louder? Do it like that with your right hand. (I'm really crap at tapping, just so you know. I simply haven't got round to learning much of that techni...

Go to www.satriani.com and www.courseofevolution.com, and on their forums, you'll find a guy called Graham Shackleford, going by the name of Stu Clone, who has just got a custom Carvin bass made of Koa. You could ask him about it.

Did Steve ever play a normal guitar around that point? I mean, people may like the looks, but it would take me a lot to get me to play a guitar with an uncomfortable body shape, an upside down headstock and only one pickup, especially if I was getting guitars custom built.

could I suggest that if you want to find the most popular SV songs, you don't do it like this - people end up voting for songs which they like less than other songs which they have to leave out. A much better way would be like they do on the DT forum - a knockout between pairs of songs.

Knowing the difficulty of Grade 8, whether or not Steve has one doesn't matter, because he could learn the pieces in about 20 minutes, walk into the exam and get 150 out of 150. He does not have one because he can't be bothered (what's the point?) and because as far as I am aware, the 1-8 grading sy...

This way, we get both an instrumental album (I can't wait) AND a full on concept album, which should be coherent if he now does it properly, as he said he would in his postcard.

I'm learning Sisters by Steve. Although you don't think it will be as hard as other Steve stuff when you start out, there are some really wierd rhythms he does. I've been sort of on and off with this one for months now.

Steve makes a DRASTIC change to his next album

Hey folks, If you check out Steve's latest postcard, or the updates section, Steve says lots of VERY interesting stuff about his new album. Basically, he says that when he was making Fire Garden it got too much for him, so he made Alien Love Secrets and took another year on FG. He says he's doing ba...

I'm sure I've posted to a topic on these boards which was an exact clone of this one before.

Oh well, Robert Fripp - the man who was King Crimson.
