i started playing whitg a thin noname plec .. later i bought heavy fender and ibanez vai plecs ; now i got one big stubby 3mm plec und bought me short after that an big stubby 2mm ; thei are both good to practice alternate picking and it doesnt take much time to play with them faster and more precis...

you can put dimarzios(evolution) on any rg which has a similar tremolo
if you want that same sound and another optic
basically rg-series are similar to the jems

well i thought about how it would sound if vai would record or play something with japanese taico-drummers ;
there are many cultures to research their music and bring it with your own feeling to a song

or traditional chinese music would be intresting too

i like the les paul sound , because its more warm as the strat ;
the strat has an hard sound i like it in blues or something like that but i dont like the 80's strat era .. i dont know why..

but for me that are very strange but beautifull feelings

vais music is in mine opinion as dark as happy ;
there is a balance in his music and some kind of result is the athmosphere of benevolence .. and this has nothing to do with dark or light .. its more something spiritual

but in some cases poele do things wich i dont understand ^^ in this time this is no hate and no other feeling but then i only cant understand what for poeple love what they do
