If somebody wanted to learn 8-finger tapping I would advice you to check out the books "The Right Touch" and the video "The Two-Handed Guitarist" by Steve Lynch (http://www.stevelynch.info). He made 8-finger tapping popular and inspired for example Jennifer Batten.

During a guitar workshop in the GIT (1985) Steve said that he practiced 15 hours on a "free day". He practiced 8-9 hours on "school days".

I thought he created this workout for the magazine "Guitar World". Did he really use this workout?
