Anyone can play like Steve if they put as much heart and energy to it as he has, plus it takes a certain amount of talent that others have as well. I'll go ahead and post something I posted in another thread: Ok.. LOOK, guys... Steve Vai is an amazing musician and guitar player.. but he's NOT Jesus ...

With these two split , like the inner singles of each , can give a crispy brilliant clean sound . It sounds trebly and not sharp at once .. its an AWSOME combination when it comes to clean ... an...

then again, I just checked the legacy site and steve's favorite settings have the clean channel volume at 5 or 6 and I always hear his clean channel as crystal clear. :? :? :? It depends on the pickups you are using. Notice how Steve splits his humbuckers into singles when he uses the clean channel...

I play guitar, bass, and can also play other instruments like piano and organ. I seem to remember Steve Vai saying something similar to this: "I don't consider myself a guitar player. I think of myself as a musician, and my guitar is how I get my music out." or something like that.. I'm having a bra...

Paul's solo stuff is very Japanese poppish type stuff.. and their pop borrows a lot from sixties artists like the Beatles.. so it's very classic sounding and he adds some shred in there too. I really enjoy it because I like japanese pop a lot.
