I'm not a fan of the colours, great idea for the light inside though!
What kind of sound do you think the lack of wood on the body will produce?
I'd love to hear or see Steve wail on this...perhaps a demo video?(hint hint) :P

I thought I heard an interview in which Steve was making fun of Dave's guitars and Dave replied."Yeah, they're ugly but I like them and that keeps anyone else from getting one!" (not an exact quote) Anyone else know the clip I'm talking about? I think it was a comentary on Vai tunes about the Astori...

Zack and Satch. Two totally different people playing two totally different styles. Both of them do what they do. And both do it well. A fair comparison of abilities would be to substitute eachothers' minds and memories into the other's body. Then see how they could perform with the inherent limitati...

Well, I have to admit - You need to respect the opinion of a guy who hasn't just played all the above mentioned amps.. But OWNS them! Nice pic dude!

Mesa's are great amps. They hit a special spot for me. But They are very expensive, I don't think the clean is all that good, and everyone and their dog seems to have one. Marshall's, well... buyer beware. The JTM 45 is the only one I'd quest for. JSX sounds like a sweet amp, good price too. Worth l...

I noticed Steve's tone had much more high end live than in his recordings. Actually his sound is twice as big live! Obviously you can't re-create a good live sound on disk, but I found his tone was much more fullfilling to hear when performed without the limitations of a mastered CD and stereo syste...

How do you prove you play guitar.... What is proof? Evidence, or fact that you indeed play. Perhaps a log book of practice hours? It is argued that proof denies faith. I would rather give everyone faith in my ability to play, why does one feel the need to prove anything. Ego. Ego. Ego. Unless you've...

Remember to give yourself long term goals - It hepls to put a perspective on things when they get rough. Always have a destination in mind. For example in the next 5 years I want to be able to play as good as Jimmy Page. Learn his albums and tricks but keep in mind you have a certain amount of time ...

Most of the time people are just bashing an artist for not creating music in a scope that they can fully comprehend. There is always some other level of expression that is either more or less informative than whatever example you start with. The level of conciousness exuded by some is dwarfed by the...

I go by the the same old rule of thumb... Don't put your gear anywhere that you wouldn't sleep yourself. If you have to put your stuff in the garage, You may want to look into some flight cases. I know it's pricy, but at least you can have nice safe and stackable gear. However; a tent and a sleeping...

Hey there; I've got the Vox AD30 VT and for your price range I'd say It'll do what you want. You really have to tweak it however, because all of the modeling features are trying to replicate different amps through the same 12" speaker - and let's face it It will never sound like a stack. Anyways, to...
