Re: Hey steeda!

Hey Steeda..... That´s the truth... Dear Steeda... You actually dont know so much about theory right?;o) I think it´s great that you like Yngwie, and defend him like you do.But to try to compare him with Joe,and especially Steve,is too funny. Another thing, what "masturbatory" whammy abuse in "Little ...

All I can say after I have seen that DVD is,Yngwie sucks more than ever, and Steve absolutely BURN through "I know you are here".It´s one of the best and most moving musical pieces I have heard in a long time.Like Jaco in the Weather Report days,he start a little simple tape loop, and SHRED through it...

Exellent DVD.I must admit I have not heard the guitar was out of tune, but I noticed that Steve is playing a little too fast in "Whispering a prayer",than the rest of the band.I play myself, and maybe it´s not much, but it´s enough. I still think the "Alive in an Ultra world" copy is the best by far. B...

It has taken me about 7 years to get "Eugenes trickbag" right. I learned the fundamental arps in the start pretty quick, but to get the piece up to speed, took the time! And then instead of the big interval jumps,I found a stringskipping teknique, that was much easyer. But today..sometimes if I really s...

Yes Ingwie could actually be in the biz 25 years although he dosent play good.Cuz not all are guitarist, and they(right steeda?)think everything the stupid Swede does,is wonderful. I have played guitar over 20 years, and I have followed him since the start.Like Vai and Satch for that matter. And Yngwi...

I come from Copenhagen, and I got my copy today.Hey..what a great experience to finally see him again(I saw him in Copenhagen the times he was here). I dont understand that some talk about blurred hands or whatever. What about just enjoying the performance? IMO the epicenter is lying someplace near th...

I think Yngwie can play faster than Steve,no doubt, but who cares? When you have heard 1-2 records, you are ready to choke the guy. I think what makes Steve so great,is his imagination, and passion for the instrument. I would love to see Steve Morse,Holdsworth and Gilbert with Vai. BTW does an...
