Yah. It's not like he's working out Yngwie's guitar solos note for note for all the songs. Chord structure... basic riffs... then he just improvises over the top of it -- perhaps Yngwie-like because fans are expecting that (which he has the chops to pull out of his butt... on the fly). pretty much.

I used the old Thomas Nordegg flame trick and... it works. yah. pretty much. You've got to keep moving it over the flame... not let it stand on the heat. You want it to heat up a bit and expand... not melt. I've done some welding before so maybe that experience helped a bit.

One of the guitars may be a little "out" and you are keeping the same finger placement without getting the same result. 5th, 7th, and 12th frets are pretty forgiving... for 2nd and 3rd frets, your fingers have to be pretty precise in th...
