It's true that the synthesized guitar solo part, really has this one tapping run wich can resemble Steve's style..

but i really doubt it was him, it's a bit more "standart" heavy shred to my ears.. interesting synth sound tho

the first word looks very much like it wants to be "the"..

the second word might have 4 or 5 characters, i thought about "ruby" or "fury"..
